RALLIER OF THE YEAR
RULES
The actual year
concerning the rallier of the year trophy runs from A.G.M. (Annual General
Meeting) to A.G.M. The trophy is presented annually at the A.G.M by the chairman
to the member with the highest points. All members are eligible to win the
trophy, including committee. In the event of a tie break, the chairman decides
on the winner possibly counting the years of membership or another element.
Points are awarded as
follows:-
1 pt per night for rally
attendance e.g. 2 points per weekend.
1 pt per night as a
rally officer (all committee run rallies are excluded from this) and 1 pt per
night for rally attendance.
2 pts for each article
of fifty words or more entered in the Brown Bear magazine.
2 pts for winning a
recognised East Warwickshire Caravan Club trophy.
3 pts for being a member
of a working party.
1-5 pts for any other
assistance given at chairman’s discretion.
Once a rallier has
completed more than 18 rallies the rally attendance points are doubled to 2
points per night. This only applies to normal weekend rallies, not to holiday
rallies. For example, rally attendance is 4 pts. Rally officers still only
receive 2 pts for running the rally, a total of 6 pts.
If ralliers have the
same number of points the sum of points as a rally officer or rally assistant
are taken into account.
